She holds a BA in English from the University of Vermont and an MA in Cultural Studies from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, where she has lived since 2010. She specializes in Colombian literary and academic translation, particularly pertaining to issues of human rights and the armed conflict.
